Caregiver/LNA role at Visiting Angels Auburn & Gilford NH

Visiting Angels is looking for a Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of clients who may no longer be able to care for themselves. The ideal candidate must provide care with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect, and remain empathetic at all times.

• Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands, provide transportation if needed, accompany clients to appointments, assist with medication reminders, prepare meals, and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services may include toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting an individual.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Experience caring for seniors and/or disabled adults professionally or personally.
• Reliability and professionalism are very important.
• MUST enjoy assisting in the needs of others.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience a plus.
• Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and document.
