What will you do?
- Perform cycle counts by generating count documents and posting inventory variances in the system.
- Review and process requests to rework inventory by converting one material into another, validating financial impact and ensuring proper documentation.
- Extract and compile productivity data from internal systems and tools to support operational and performance reporting.
- Submit freight‑related invoices for timely payment.
- Perform detailed accounts payable analysis, including blocked invoice exception reporting, debit balance review, and EDI invoice rejections.
- Assist with the month‑end close process by preparing journal entries and performing various balance sheet reconciliations within required deadlines.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly financial reports.
- Assist Finance and RIC with specialized and ad hoc reporting, help maintain and improve internal controls through documentation and assessments, and support both internal and external audit initiatives.
- Support the identification and implementation of efficiency improvements, with a strong emphasis on digitalizing and automating processes and reporting.
- Special projects and ad hoc reports analysis as required.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What will you need to succeed?
- New graduate from a university program in Finance or Accounting.
- Graduated from post‑secondary within the last 12 months.
- Above average study performance (Accumulative average > 2.5 (B‑)). Transcripts to be provided upon request.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Advanced Excel skills are preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, AI‑driven analytics, or UiPath automation is considered a strong asset.
- Familiarity with SAP is an asset.
- Strong analytical thinking and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies, interpret financial data, and support accurate reporting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize findings clearly and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
