Advanced Mammography Technologist, Part-Time

If primary job assignment includes special procedures: assisting the radiologist in the performance of needle localizations and biopsies and provides the patient care essential to radiological procedures. Applies principles of radiation protection. Assists in general radiographic and office duties as needed.

• Screening and diagnostic mammography for interpretation by radiologists.
• Assisting the radiologist in the performance of needle localizations and biopsies.
• Providing patient care essential to radiological procedures.
• Applying principles of radiation protection.
• Assisting in general radiographic and office duties as needed.

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
• 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program.
• State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
