Travel RN - Leadership - Nurse Manager

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN Nurse Manager for an Endoscopy Unit position requiring a MA RN license and a minimum of 5 years of specialty nursing experience with supervisory background.

Job Details

• Position is based in a hospital Endoscopy Unit with oversight responsibilities that also extend to Interventional Radiology,

• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week,

• No on-call requirements,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license currently in hand,

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience within the endoscopy specialty area,

• 3-5 years of supervisory or assistant manager experience preferred,

• Two professional references required for consideration,

• Copies of current certifications required for consideration,

Additional Information

• The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour accountability for the management of the Endoscopy Unit and Interventional Radiology, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care,

• Oversees a multidisciplinary team including RNs, CNAs, Patient Care Assistants, and Unit Secretaries,

• Responsible for ensuring delivery of quality services and that professional nursing is practiced in accordance with established standards,

• Strong assistant manager candidates may be considered with approval,

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a local pay rate,
