Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 2A Neonatal ICU night shift position in Massachusetts requiring a MA RN license and neonatal care experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a Level 2A Special Care Nursery caring for neonates during high-risk deliveries and neonatal intensive care situations
- Night shifts, 7pm-7am, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating to postpartum or Mother/Baby unit as needed
- Care for neonatal patients, including providing support at deliveries
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates and support families during high-risk deliveries
- Coordinate and communicate with interdisciplinary team members to meet patient care objectives
- Provide coverage on the Mother/Baby unit and Labor and Delivery as needed
- Participate in required in-services, safety, and competency programs
- Documentation and patient/family education are key responsibilities
- First time travelers will not be considered
- Local candidates within a 50 mile radius are accepted at a discounted rate
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification required
- Current NRP certification required
- Previous experience in special care nursing of newborns preferred
- Prior travel experience required
- Must have experience attending deliveries
