Job Overview

River Bend RV Resort is seeking a motivated and energetic Campground Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a full-time seasonal position, approximately March to November, with the potential to be year‑round.

Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager with minimal supervision, this role is responsible for the upkeep, safety, and improvement of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment for guests and visitors, maintaining the high standards of the resort.

• General maintenance, construction, or handyman experience preferred
• Working knowledge of basic tools and repair techniques
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards campground guests
• Good communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Physically able to lift, bend, stand, and perform manual labor throughout the day
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic understanding of electrical, carpentry, painting, and plumbing
• Experience in any other trades such as vehicle maintenance, small engine repair, machine operation, groundskeeping, etc. a plus

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including landscaping, trash removal, and general groundskeeping, to keep the campground clean and inviting
• Conduct repairs on facilities such as water connections, restrooms, picnic areas, and pathways using basic electrical, basic plumbing, or mechanical skills as needed
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Assist with projects and facility upgrades to enhance the appearance and functionality of campground structures
• Operate equipment such as mowers, power tools, and basic machinery safely and efficiently
• Maintain security and safety of all job sites and work areas for self, fellow workers, staff, and guests
• Perform all assignments as directed by the Facilities Manager, assuring safety, quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness
• Maintain a spirit of cooperation within the department and throughout the property
• Work hours, shifts, and overtime as required and/or assigned by the Facilities Manager
• Demonstrate professional and courteous behavior with all guests and employees
• Perform all other duties as assigned
