Job Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the General Kitchen Worker position performs a variety of duties relating to patient meal services.
Minimum Qualifications- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Experience:
Previous experience strongly preferred. - L icensure and/or Certification:
None required.
- Demonstrated safe and sanitary working practices.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions and meal tickets.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to interact with patients, employees, family members, staff, and other customers in a positive, hospitable manner.
- Computer skills to check Hospital e-mail and perform other training and mandatory requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
