Phlebotomist Pediatric Specialist – Emerson Health
Job SummaryUnder the general direction of the Client Services Manager and the Director of Laboratory Services, the Phlebotomist Pediatric Specialist collects blood specimens for analysis and processes accession requisitions into the Laboratory Computer System.
Minimum Qualifications- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred Education: Certified Phlebotomy Training Course completion and certificate preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Phlebotomy experience
- Licensure & Certification: Phlebotomy Certification preferred
- Skills: Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Effective phlebotomy skills
- Ability to switch priorities and respond to changing departmental needs, including traveling to other locations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to maintain confidential information
