Reporting to the Office Manager and working under the direct supervision of the Cardiologist(s), responsible for ensuring patient preparation and supporting the physician(s) with clinical duties.

• Education
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant course strongly preferred.
• Experience
• Two to four years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a Cardiologists office preferred.
• Licensure and/or Certification
• Certification as a Medical Assistant in Massachusetts preferred but not required.
• Skills
• EKG experience required.
• Ability to take vital signs.
• Customer service skills.
• Computer skills with EMR/EHR, Meditech, GE Centricity preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills on the phone and in person.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
