This opportunity empowers you to lead business development and manage a robust commercial portfolio, specializing in hospitality and owner‑operated businesses across Cape Cod and the coastal region. As a Commercial Relationship Banking Manager, you will enjoy significant decision‑making authority and direct impact on market growth, all within a flexible hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and oversee a portfolio of commercial relationships, with a focus on hospitality and tourism‑related clients.
- Originate and structure Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans, SBA 7(a)/504 loans, and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) transactions.
- Generate new business through networking, community involvement, and referral sources.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and underwrite complex credit transactions.
- Present credit packages to committees and collaborate with underwriting and risk teams for approval.
- Cross‑sell treasury management, deposit solutions, and a range of banking services.
- Monitor portfolio performance, ensure covenant compliance, and maintain overall credit quality.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business owners and operators in the region.
- 7+ years of proven experience in commercial lending, including C&I, SBA, and CRE loan structuring.
- Advanced credit analysis and underwriting skills, particularly for complex business transactions.
- Strong track record in new business development and portfolio management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of financial statement analysis and cash flow underwriting.
- Deep familiarity with hospitality industry financial dynamics.
- Well‑established relationship network within the Cape Cod or South Shore region.
- Experience with owner‑occupied real estate and small business financing needs.
- Ability to cross‑sell treasury management and bank deposit solutions.
- Community involvement and local market leadership experience.
