Emergency Roadside Tow Driver

AAA Mountain West Group is seeking a dedicated Service Vehicle Driver to provide exceptional roadside assistance and customer service to AAA members.

Driving and operating a specific service vehicle (tow trucks, battery service vehicles/light service vehicles), operating towing equipment for members and commercial purposes; performing simple diagnostics, and offering outstanding customer service.

• Drive and operate a service vehicle (e.g., flat tire changes, lock‑out, fuel delivery).
• Interact with customers on scene, establish rapport and address issues.
• Leverage sales skills to offer AAA products and services during service interactions.
• Utilize on‑board computer, radio communications and mapping systems.
• Complete daily paperwork (call logs, battery invoices, cash receipts).

• Clear verbal and written communication under pressure.
• Understanding of vehicle components and common failure causes.
• Problem‑solving and listening skills to evaluate member safety.
• Ability to drive a manual or automatic shift vehicle.

• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 2 years of customer‑contact experience.
• Completion of AAA compliance training, RPST, TSAAC, lock‑out, PSP, battery service training.
• Vocational automotive training/certification preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.

Work outdoors at vehicle sites. Lift and carry tires and parts up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel and stoop as required. Operations in all weather and traffic conditions; recovery sites may be wet, messy, hazardous.

$27.50 hourly pay with potential to earn up to an additional $1,400 per month through quality and productivity incentives.
