Overview
Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast, LLC is seeking an Analyst II to join the Wet Chemistry team in Concord, New Hampshire. Must live within a commutable distance to the lab. Position is Monday–Friday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Compensation is $20–$22/hour plus full benefits.
Responsibilities- prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard and complex testing according to scientific and environmental protection methodologies in compliance with Eurofins QA programs and SOPs; validates and reviews data for accuracy through Level I reviews; uploads laboratory data into the LIMS to generate data packages for client delivery.
- Performs laboratory procedures requiring knowledge of scientific methods and testing procedures, including:
- Batching and prepping samples with consideration of client and QA requirements
- Preparing reagents for sample analysis
- Ali quoting extracted samples to maximize laboratory productivity
- Preparing appropriate standards to ensure compliant data
- Determining appropriate routine and complex analysis methods for a wide variety of organic and inorganic samples
- Operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments
- Uploads data into the LIMS system for review and performs Level I data review to ensure accuracy.
- Maintains logbooks and monitors refrigerator temperatures.
- Performs functions in compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing America environmental health and safety and QA standards.
- Maintains housekeeping standards for the work area and inventories laboratory supplies.
- Secondary duties: orders supplies, washes and inventories glassware, writes NCMs for projects with QA issues, purges analyzed samples, assists in training new analysts, and assists in other areas as needed.
Basic Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
BS or BA in chemistry or a related field, or 3 years of laboratory experience may substitute for a degree. - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in routine and complex laboratory procedures and instruments, preferably in a production environment; previous production-oriented work is helpful (ability to meet deadlines). - Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds; samples are in coolers packed in ice.
- Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Reading, writing, and speaking skills; problem solving; team participation and meeting management; time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to use calculators and understand mathematical formulas; ability to complete work within time and quality constraints; works independently following written or verbal instructions; cooperates and communicates effectively.
- Familiarity with Wet Chemistry protocols, including high- and low-resolution preparation and analysis.
