LEASING CONSULTANTThe Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining resident relations for a property.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Property Leasing and Administration
- Regular/daily on‑site attendance
- Show, lease, and move‑in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign a lease.
- Handle all functions to close sales, including appointments, lead generation, tours, model unit maintenance, and follow‑up.
- Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in.
- Assist with lease audits, walking units, and turnover processes.
- Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours.
- Use sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, improve closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals.
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
- Handle resident complaints and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in developing resident retention programs (functions, promotions, newsletters, etc.).
- Contribute to general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model units.
- Marketing & Outreach: assist with annual marketing plan outreach.
- Review and complete market surveys/analysis to generate ideas and formulate plans.
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; prepare weekly market survey reports.
- Customer & Resident Relations: manage customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and respond promptly.
- Project a favorable image of the community to achieve public recognition.
- Ensure consistent resident interactions on all matters.
- Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use on‑site software.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
- Movement around the worksite, communication, and repetitive wrist, hand, or finger motions.
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools, and remain standing or sitting for long periods.
- Capacity to move objects up to 25 lbs., operate machinery or power tools, and work in various environments including confined spaces, overhead positions, outdoor weather, and potentially hazardous conditions.
At Asset Living, compensation decisions consider skill set, background, training, certifications, and relevant experience. Salary RangeSalary Range: $21 per hour to $25 per hour.
