Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Concord, California. This position requires expertise in managing payroll functions for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional organizational skill

Responsibilities:

- Administer payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

- Handle payroll deductions, including garnishments. 401K contributions, and benefits adjustments a plus

- Oversee unemployment claims and insurance billing processes with precision.

- Manage employee benefits-related payroll tasks, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.

- Utilize Paychex and ADP Workforce Now systems to streamline payroll operations efficiently.

- Maintain meticulous records and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

- Develop and implement procedures to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.

- Prioritize tasks effectively in a multi-functional, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements - Proven experience in payroll administration for large teams, preferably over 500 employees.

- Proficiency in payroll systems such as Paychex and ADP Workforce Now.

- Strong knowledge of payroll deductions, including garnishments, 401K, and benefits.

- Familiarity with unemployment claims and insurance billing processes.

- Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach.

- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.

- In-depth understanding of payroll compliance regulations.

- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams.
