Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position with recent experience and HCHB EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities- Home health setting serving primarily geriatric patients
- Assignment based within the East Team territory covering up to a 60-mile radius from the main office
- Typical caseload is 5-7 patients per day
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call rotation required every 3rd to 4th weekend
- HCHB EMR experience is required
- OASIS documentation experience preferred
- Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- iPad is provided for documentation
- Primary responsibility includes providing physical therapy services to geriatric patients in their homes
- Travelers must be flexible and willing to travel within the assigned territory
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Local candidates are accepted and compensated at the travel rate
- Dress code is scrubs (any color), jeans are not permitted
- Current PT license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in home health physical therapy
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated experience with HCHB EMR
- Experience with OASIS documentation preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and cover a wide geographic territory
