SCAH-Sutter Care at Home - Bay

TUESDAY TO SATURDAY 8-5PM (OFF SUNDAY AND MONDAY)

Provides personal care and related non-professional household services necessary to meet the hygiene, activities of daily living (ADL), and comfort needs of the homebound patient in alignment with affiliate mission, goals and objectives.

• HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• HHA-Home Health Aide
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• AUTO-Automobile Insurance
• DL-Valid Drivers License
• 1 year recent relevant experience
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and health care practices; understanding of universal precautions.
• Positive customer service orientation; skill working with diverse groups.
• Ability to recognize special needs and concerns of diverse groups.
• Ability to communicate with patients and significant others effectively.
• Tolerance for body secretions, odors, potential exposure to disease, varied environmental conditions.
• Competency evaluated by written test and during joint visits.

Pay Range is $30.67 to $36.80 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
