Accounting Analyst

Randstad Strategic Accounts is looking for a business professional with a knowledge and proficiency working in the banking industry. We have a role that we are looking to fill for a contract position with a top tier bank in the financial industry. 8 AM - 5 PM

Education:

Bachelors

High volume work environment

Look at offsetting entries for transactions and where they need to be posted to or be updated within.

Review transactions in Excel spreadsheets and research across various other proprietary applications.

Submit requests and entries across multiple applications.

• Basic information input
• Research
• Posting accounts
• Posting offsets

1-2 years of applicable experience.

• Must be highly engaged and analytical
• Previous banking and/or accounting experience
• Knowledge of accounting; basic accounting knowledge
• Excellent typing and 10 key skills.
• Ability to work and toggle between multiple screens and applications
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Excel

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. In addition, Randstad offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
