• Provide classroom support by assisting the teacher with instructional activities and accommodations for students with special needs.
• Support student independence by encouraging engagement in learning activities.
• Assist with behavioral and social needs, including support for behavior management plans and social-emotional development.
• Provide physical assistance as needed (mobility, personal care, adaptive equipment).
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
• Collaborate and communicate with teachers, therapists, and staff to support student success.
• On-call support as needed when regular staff members are absent or to fill temporary vacancies. Hours vary by day, location, and assignment.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates of Arts Degree OR 60 semester hours OR equivalent college training OR pass CVCHS Proficiency Test
• Previous experience working with school-age children (Preferred)
