Contra Costa Water District (CCWD) is an innovative leader in water management. The Mission of CCWD is to strategically provide a reliable supply of high-quality water at the lowest cost possible, in an environmentally responsible manner.
CCWD is seeking a skilled, motivated, and team-oriented Senior Administrative Analyst (Project) in the Engineering Department to support the Canal Replacement Program (CRP), which will replace the Contra Costa Canal with a large-diameter pipeline. The annual expenditure for the project is over $15M per year and is anticipated to grow to exceed $250M per year. The position will support all Departments working on the CRP as well as future reporting requirements required by funding agencies.

Project Employee Position is full-time and temporary with benefits, for work on the Canal Replacement Program (CRP). The position is anticipated to last for a term of 2 to 5 years and possibly longer. Project employees are hired for specific projects of limited duration.

- Responsibilities
:
Coordinating, preparing, developing, and administrating complex reporting requirements for state and federal funding agencies. - Gathering, tabulating, and analyzing data.
- Preparing and developing periodic financial reports and presentations on progress relating to the CRP.
- Monitoring performance and progress in executing goals and objectives.
- Selecting and supervising staff, providing training and development opportunities, ensuring work is performed effectively, and evaluating performance in an objective and positive manner.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships.
- You will support a regionally significant water infrastructure project that will improve water conveyance reliability, water quality, water conservation, and worker and public safety.

PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; to operate a motor vehicle and visit various District and meeting sites; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
