Contra Costa Powersports is a full service Honda/Kawasaki/Suzuki/Zero motorcycle dealership serving Contra Costa County and surrounding areas. We are looking for a full-time mechanic (technician) with a minimum of 1 year dealership experience. The ideal candidate will have solid technical and mechanical skills regarding work on motorcycles, ATVs, and scooters.

Our goal is for this to be a permanent, long-term position with the dealership. We are not seeking someone just for the spring or summer. Since opening 9 years ago, we have kept all our mechanics busy throughout the winter season, which is a significant advantage.

Skills we are looking for include:

• Ability to perform routine maintenance on all products sold in the dealership.
• Ability to do pre-delivery inspections of new units.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to push motorcycles weighing up to 800 lbs.
• Proficiency with power tools, using both hands.
• Hold a valid driver's license with M1 endorsement.
• Adhere to all dealership policies related to the department.
• Follow departmental dress codes and maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform any other duties necessary for the success of the department and dealership.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
