Centerless Grinder Machine Operator

Description:

Position requires standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Candidate must have three years of experience with centerless grinders and cylindrical grinders.
• Possess basic grinding skills required to set-up and run multiple cylindrical parts.
• Have knowledge of grinding wheels and wheel dressing.
• Able to read blueprints and familiar with precision gauging of aerospace parts.
• Possess mechanical skills and basic shop mathematics skills working with decimals to .0001”.
• Must be results‑oriented, motivated, and deal with changing priorities.
• Candidate must have some exposure to an industrial environment.
• Able to read blueprints; knowledge of working with metals helpful.
• Must be able to stand, walk for long periods and lift heavy gauges.
• Some overtime may be required. Monday‑Saturday.
