Responsible for the overall business development, customer acquisition, pricing, negotiation, and project coordination for import and export freight forwarding business with the United States as the core market, covering US ↔ Latin America (Mexico, Brazil, Chile, etc.), China ↔ US, and other key international trade lanes, across air, ocean, and multimodal logistics, with full responsibility for revenue targets.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Sales

Actively develop US-centered import and export freight forwarding businesses, including but not limited to:

US ↔ Latin America (Mexico, Brazil, Chile, etc.),China ↔ US, Other international trade lanes related to the US

Through calls, emails, Linked In, client visits, and industry events.

Prepare freight quotations, negotiate contract terms, and manage Incoterms and payment conditions independently.

  • Project & Operations Coordination

Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and handle special cargo such as DG, batteries, oversized cargo, etc.

  • Customer Relationship Management

Maintain long-term customer relationships and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Monitor market trends, carrier policies, port conditions, customs regulations, and pricing movements across US import and export trade lanes, and provide strategic recommendations on route development and business growth.

  • Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding or cross-border logistics

• Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and multimodal logistics

• Familiar with US import and export trade lanes, including US–Latin America and China–US routes

• Solid understanding of Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.)

• Proven ability to independently develop customers and close deals

• Fluent business English for negotiation and client communication
