WHAT YOU’LL DOOverseeing all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and proper material condition
Managing shipping documentation, including weights, charges, invoices, and order records
Coordinating the movement of materials from receiving to storage and production areas
Ensuring loading and unloading operations meet safety and shipping standards
Determining load limits and selecting appropriate shipping methods to meet schedules
Reporting damaged or incorrect items and working with vendors to resolve discrepancies
Monitoring inventory levels, performing regular reconciliations, and ensuring material availability
Coordinating maintenance or repair of equipment and materials as needed
Managing financial transactions related to shipping and warehouse operations
Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and recommending process enhancements
Hiring, training, and supervising warehouse and shipping staff
Supporting standardization of warehouse processes for consistency and improved performance
Walking, sitting, talking, and hearing regularly during daily activities
Lifting or moving up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 35 lbs occasionally
Maintaining required vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Working in an environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and moderate noise
Performing other duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR- Minimum of a high school diploma;
Bachelors Degree preferred - At least 2 years of experience in a shipping or warehouse management/supervisory role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and supervisory abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills
- Good negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities
- Knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures
