• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed yet uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Under direct supervision, the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The position assists customers, cleans, fills, and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli, and maintains the department’s cleanliness throughout the shift. The role works in a fast‑paced grocery environment and includes physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory tasks.

The position offers two different shifts—morning and full shift options—while providing opportunities for growth and skill development.

Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
