• Operate a minimum of two Davenport multi‑spindle screw machines with minimal supervision.
• Read and use calipers, micrometers, comparators, depth gages, pin and thread gages to evaluate work pieces.
• Maintain first‑pass yield and perform first‑part buy‑offs and final inspections.
• Setup and verify machine parameters—load work pieces, select appropriate feed rate, cutting speed, depth, tooling, cams, springs, collets, and other variable tasks—to produce parts using various materials.
• Use surface grinders, bench grinders and other equipment within the department.
• Record all data on in‑process and final inspection forms and enter required data into SPC.
• Adhere to Davenport quality and inspection methods, identify and report common or major defects, and pass the certified operator exam for FAI and first‑part buy‑off stamp.
• Follow production schedules, maintain good housekeeping and machine safety, and comply with all company rules and regulations.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, and collaborate with team members.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear appropriate PPE.

• Minimum of 1 year’s set‑up and operating experience in aerospace or equivalent schooling.
• Pass Davenport skills assessment test with the required score.
• Communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• Self‑starter with strong work ethic, motivation, and good housekeeping.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Understand that they manufacture critical aerospace components and follow all rules and regulations.

The expected pay range for this position is $29.52 - $35.88. Position is for 2nd shift LG 9.
