Job Overview

The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the effective planning, managing, and implementation of highly visible projects to improve Alta Med's presence in the community. Under the direction of the Community Affairs leadership, the Project Manager will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and cultivating relationships with local private, civic, and public organizations to increase brand awareness and community engagement. The Project Manager will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all outreach and engagement activities are aligned with project objectives and are delivered promptly.

Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS Degree in Communications, Marketing, Social or Human Sciences, or related area, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in community affairs or community relations programs. Health care experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of multicultural target audiences within the geographic area served.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills for frequent contact with internal customers and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of cultural and linguistic sensitivities.
  • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) and experience working with the Latino community are preferred.
Compensation

$88,874.24 - $ annually
