Job OverviewThe IPA Medical Assistant (MA) will assist in the provision of direct patient care by performing routine patient care procedures alongside technical and clerical support services within the IPA clinical setting. They will build relationships with the IPA back office and front office teams, listen to them, and support their clinical needs. They will demonstrate compassion and respect and will be proactive in managing patient, staff, and provider expectations.
They will assist in informing best practices in front office administrative responsibilities, alongside back office support and training to IPA providers and staff. They will assist in achieving shared department goals and objectives as an MA team leader and trainer.
- Medical Assistant certificate, along with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a back office Medical Assistant required.
- Prior experience as a Lead MA strongly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- A valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
$26.00 - $30.55 hourly
