A large private professional services firm in LA is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for month‑end close and owning the general ledger. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment, drive efficiency, and possess strong communication skills. • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 8+ years of accounting experience
• Must have large company experience
• Advanced Excel

• Review the work of the accounting team
• Support month‑end close and financial reporting
• GL reconciliations, and analyze the balance sheet and P&L
• Act as liaison to the outside CPA firm for the financial statement audit
• Provide variance explanations on budgets to actuals
