We are seeking a motivated Receiving Associate to assist with managing loads for our customers. Candiadte must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, must be detail oriented and have intermidate computer skills.
This position oversees inbound/receiving and inbound/outbound trucking coordination. Additionally, will file all receiving reports and assist in quality control on second OT and outbound loads as well as assist in inventory control

Responsibilities Receiving- Verifies and records all items loaded for receiving.
- Carefully and accurately maintains receiving records for requested categories including goods returned, dunnage, and returnable pallets.
- Maintains database of shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments as required.
- Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
- Transports materials on shipping dock with a hand truck or other vehicle as needed.
- Loads trucks or railroad car using a forklift.
- Performs other clerical duties.
- Organize and manage daily load board
- All BOL’s are signed by drivers prior to departure
- Backorder reports are sent in a timely fashion. Providing backup support to will call
- Receives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers’ count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing officer per company policy.
- Organizes and manages the daily load report/board
- Enters/Scans heats accurately onto BOLs from the pick list/books provided by the warehouse.
- Ensure all changes are made to BOL’s for backorders, add-ons, and deletions.
- Verifies all BOL’s, MTR’s and manifests for loads/will calls are printed.
- Ensures all paperwork is prepared and organized for drivers.
- All BOL’s are signed by drivers prior to departure.
- All loads are verified for accuracy, and load pictures are taken prior to the departure of all drivers.
- Verifies all paperwork is gathered and sorted for each load to include J.C, loader, book copies, and manifests for the billing clerk.
- Ensures each BOL is freighted properly and is complete prior to issuing paperwork to billing.
- Clerks research bad heats in EStelplan and assist the warehouse with stock checks.
- Backorder reports are sent in a timely fashion.
- Performs other clerical duties.
- Back up for the Traffic Coordinator for routing local loads.
- Become crane and forklift certified
- Assist warehouse operations as needed. Provide back-up and cross‑train in other departments as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies/procedures
- Other duties as assigned, including administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (preferred)
- Ability to successfully multitask
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior warehouse experience
- Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
Basic understanding of railway, dock, and warehouse procedures. - Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Excel/Word, Microsoft Office Suite, and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
- Must be able to traverse the distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
- Good communication skills: phone, email, SMS.
- Consistently meet deadlines and work well under pressure
