Seasonal Head Lifeguard

We invite you to join our vibrant team as a Head Lifeguard. With the supportive guidance of our Recreation Coordinator and Pool Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in the daily operations of our municipal swimming pool. This isn’t just about working; it’s a chance to make a positive impact while ensuring everyone has a fantastic and safe time in the water.

As the key leader, you’ll monitor activities, guide a dedicated team, and perform lifeguard duties in an encouraging environment.

The hiring range for Seasonal Head Lifeguard is $20.04 – $22.57 per hour. Salary is dependent upon experience.

• Monitor activities at the pool and supervise a dedicated lifeguard team.
• Perform lifeguard duties in an encouraging environment to ensure safety and a positive guest experience.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum of 2 years combined experience lifeguarding or managing at a public swimming pool with at least 6 months of minimal supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Must possess current certifications in all or a combination of the following:
  Starfish Aquatic Institute – Star Guard Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, AED, or ability to obtain prior to, or within one month, of hiring.
