- Lead new partnership business development efforts, including direct outreach to prospective partners, guiding the sales team, negotiating, presenting tailored solutions, and closing high-value deals.
- Lead all prospecting efforts to build a strong pipeline and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Game Presentation, Stadium Operations, Partnership Marketing, and Business Intelligence to develop data-driven strategies and compelling sales narratives.
- Collaborate with the Director/Manager of Partnership Activation to ensure partnerships are effectively managed, activated, and delivered with a high-quality experience for partners and fans.
- Leverage data-driven decision making to inform outreach strategies, manage the sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and track key performance metrics.
- Drive innovation in the sales approach by identifying unique partnership opportunities and developing tailored solutions to grow revenue and enhance the Rapids brand.
- Develop and execute community-driven partnerships that engage local audiences and drive fan growth.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture by setting expectations, guiding professional growth, and supporting the team.
- Typical office conditions
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and stand at events for extended periods
- Occasional travel to other markets for league meetings, client entertainment, and related business development activities
- BS/BA or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in the field or a related field
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
- Professional, collegiate, and/or media-related sales and management experience
- Ability to acquire or maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards
- Base Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
- Eligible for annual performance bonus/commission
