• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere by answering product questions and making suggestions.
• Maintain product knowledge and recommend items, inform customers of specials.
• Check product quality, review sell‑by dates, and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise; provide fresh products as ordered.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads.
• Adhere to food safety regulations, maintain proper temperatures, and log temperatures.
• Reinforce safety programs, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
• Inspect equipment, report repairs, and notify the appropriate department.
• Report accidents and safety risks, including theft or fraud.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Effective communication skills.

• Any retail experience.
• Second language proficiency (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
