Event Day Culinary Supervisor – Legends Global

Hourly Wage: $27.81
Under the direction of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the Event Day Culinary Supervisor will effectively support all event‑day culinary operations, overseeing production, operation, and sanitation aspects of culinary and stewarding operations throughout the facility.
Responsibilities- Work directly with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef on food production, execution and service.
- Assist in the day‑of development and execution of menu items and recipes for concessions, catering, and premium locations.
- Ensure consistent food qualities in both presentation and preparation.
- Ensure all recipes and methods are followed by Lead, Line, and Prep Cooks, and temporary workers in the area.
- Maintain kitchen equipment through proper use, cleaning, and reporting issues to Legends management.
- Conduct meetings/pre‑shifts to update staff on daily goals and objectives.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness, consistent with Colorado and local health department regulations.
- Assist in training, safety, sanitation, and accident prevention controls within the kitchen.
- Report and document hazardous conditions or unsafe practices within the work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef and Legends management.
- 2‑3 years in high‑volume venues or the contract food service industry for a sports and entertainment venue; supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand a Banquet Event Order (BEO) and various menus.
- Willingness to work outdoors in adversarial weather conditions (freezing temperatures, rain, sleet, snow, and hot summer days).
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline‑oriented environment.
- Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills in a team environment.
- Customer‑service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- High level of attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to push & lift 50 pounds (e.g., boxes, kegs, hotboxes).
- Access to a working email for communication with the Concessions and Legends management teams.
- Availability for the majority of Colorado Rapids games, scheduled on Saturdays & Wednesdays (date list omitted for brevity).
- Additional events & concerts may be added at a later date.
