Overview
Commerce City is seeking two Custodian I openings for the shifts below:
Sunday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Thursday 12:00pm - 8:30pm, or Mondays-Fridays 4:00pm - 12:30am.
As a Custodian I, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall appearance of Commerce City facilities. This position isn’t just about upkeep—it’s about making a positive impact every day.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include maintaining clean and safe facilities, ensuring equipment is functional, and contributing to a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Compensation and BenefitsHiring salary is dependent upon experience. The hiring range is $20.29 - $22.54 per hour.

Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one-year custodial experience and/or light maintenance and customer service.
- Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Depending on the location of the assigned tasks that this position may complete, CJIS clearance may be required. For assignments where CJIS clearance is required, individuals must complete and pass a CJIS background investigation prior to employment, obtain CJIS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain throughout employment with the City of Commerce City.
