- Maintain written record of communication to ensure customers are aware of work scope
- Preorder parts and tooling as necessary
- Review problem work orders
- Invoicing & closing work orders
- Initiate work order opening and assign estimate value
- Update work orders as job scope changes
- Follow up with technicians on status of assigned work orders
- Provide communication to customers on schedules, warranty, etc.
- Provide communication to other cost centers for scheduling component repairs and machine scheduling
- Communicate new estimates to customers via fax or e‑mail when scope changes
- Prior to rework completion, communicate with service manager about the nature of rework required
- Handle all incoming customer calls and inquiries regarding field service work
- Provide input to the Field Service Manager for truck and tool purchases
- Assist in identification and development of new market opportunities related to Wagner Equipment Co.
- Serve as secondary contact for resident field servicemen
- Serve as initial contact for customers requiring field service repairs
- Add segments to jobs as scope changes and adjust job estimates accordingly
- Establish internal priority system for field manager to pick up workflow
- Communicate to the service clerk information on problem jobs for resolution prior to invoicing (via computer or phone flagging system)
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Pay Rate: $70,588.37 – $88,238.84 annually (pay depends on education and experience)

RequiredEducation and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years in a position requiring strong communication skills
- 3+ years administrative/clerical experience
- 3+ years customer service experience
- Some industry knowledge preferred
- Assign work orders to technicians as appropriate
- Provide input to the field service manager on employee performance and recommend appraisal and training needs
- Report any rework or non-productive activity by technicians to the field manager
- Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
- Data entry, telephone usage, reading/writing, reasoning, organization, communication, and math skills
- Safety & product knowledge
- Sedentary work primarily sitting/standing; may require lifting/moving up to 25 lbs
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Intermediate knowledge of DBS
