The Role
Liberty Moving & Storage is seeking a Sales & Marketing Support Assistant Manager to work directly with our Sales Director in driving business development, referral growth, marketing execution, and performance reporting. This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role that blends field networking, outreach strategy, light marketing coordination, and KPI tracking. You will serve as a key support partner to sales leadership - helping strengthen relationships, expand our referral footprint, and ensure consistent execution of growth initiatives.
This position is ideal for a motivated professional with 2‑5 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or account management who wants broader exposure to revenue strategy and leadership support.
Sales Director Support & Business Development- Partner directly with the Sales Director to execute referral growth strategies
- Support outreach, appointment setting, and follow‑up initiatives
- Help strengthen and expand relationships with:
- Real estate offices and realtor teams
- Property managers, luxury buildings, and relocation professionals
- Senior living communities and estate service providers
- Represent Liberty at networking events, trade shows, and community opportunities
- Maintain consistent in‑person market presence across Long Island and surrounding territories
Note:
This role requires attendance at networking events and industry functions, which may include occasional evenings and weekends as business needs require.
- Assist with social media coordination (Linked In, Instagram, Facebook)
- Support light marketing execution including:
- One‑pagers and sales collateral (Canva/PowerPoint)
- Event materials and brand consistency
- Help ensure referral partners remain engaged through structured follow‑up and visibility efforts
- Track outreach activity, meetings, and relationship touchpoints
- Maintain KPI dashboards and weekly activity reporting
Support performance monitoring and identify trends or growth opportunities - Assist leadership in evaluating referral source value and ROI
- 2‑5 years of experience in sales support, business development, marketing, or related field
- Strong communication skills (in‑person, phone, email, and social)
- Professional presence at events and networking functions
- Highly organized with strong follow‑through and accountability
- Comfortable working with reporting tools and tracking performance metrics
- Familiarity with Linked In, social media platforms, Google Workspace, and basic design tools
Must be comfortable being both in the office and in the field regularly.
