Sales Associate – Beach Bum Tanning & Airbrush Salon

Join our team as a Sales Associate at Beach Bum Tanning & Airbrush Salon. We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and personable professionals to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales in a commission‑driven environment.

• Greeting clients and providing them a warm and welcoming experience.
• Assessing clients' skin types to determine appropriate tanning equipment and lotions, explaining the tanning process, safety guidelines, and answering questions.
• Maintaining a clean and organized tanning area; ensuring equipment is in good working order and supplies are well-stocked.
• Upselling tanning lotions and other products to clients, providing recommendations based on their individual needs and preferences.
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets while maintaining professionalism and customer service.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Maintaining accurate records of client information (tanning history, preferences) for personalized experiences.
• Opening and closing the tanning salon on time.

• Base pay: $17.50 per hour + commission.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior customer service or sales experience (highly preferred).
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, positive, and passionate about the tanning industry.
• Flexible and adaptable, with ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work for long periods.

• Sales experience: at least 1 year.
• Customer service experience: at least 1 year.
