Maintenance​/Equipment Service Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance/Equipment Service Technician to join our team!

The Maintenance/Equipment Service Technician is responsible for ensuring that the plant, office areas, and exterior property grounds are continuously cleaned and maintained to uphold a pristine facility. This is a critical role, and our ideal candidate will take great pride in their work while operating with a high level of attention to detail.

• Maintenance and repair of the facility's systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical machines and structural components
• Restock washroom supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap
• Sanitize and clean entire bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and mirrors
• Empty garbage cans from the kitchen, restrooms, and other areas throughout the facility
• Mop front office and reception areas, along with other areas as needed
• Maintain the break room daily, including weekly cleaning of the refrigerator
• Dry mop storage rooms and production areas throughout the facility
• Inspect the exterior property daily for issues, including cleaning and trash removal
• Take weekly inventory of cleaning and bathroom supplies and submit to designated personnel

• High school diploma or GED, and a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• One year of previous experience as a custodian in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is a plus
• Must be able to stand regularly and walk frequently
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
