In this pivotal role, you will join an experienced team of gastroenterologists focusing on general gastroenterology. The position emphasizes clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and opportunities for professional development through teaching, research, and leadership within the academic community, with a rewarding practice environment that supports community engagement and work‑life balance.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient gastroenterology services in a well-established clinic setting.
- Collaborate with a multi-specialty team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage a call rotation of 1:3, with streamlined internal referrals within a fully integrated healthcare system.
- Engage in academic activities, including teaching and research, with potential for an academic appointment.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality, contributing to the hospital’s recognition as one of America’s safest hospitals.
- Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1:3 call rotation.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Eligibility for or current licensure in New York State.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
