Overview

Full Time Branch Ambassador – Western Suffolk Area. Capital One is reimagining the branch experience by focusing on customer needs and delivering a modern banking experience through in-branch and digital tools.

• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner and help them understand Capital One products and services.
• Assist customers with technology challenges, casual conversations, and showcasing branch services while driving a positive customer experience.
• Identify personal and business financial needs and coordinate with experts to guide customers to appropriate solutions.
• Adhere to audit, security, and regulatory policies and procedures in all branch activities.
• Support customers across all branch areas, including cash handling and service needs, with flexibility to rotate based on customer needs.
• Act as the in-branch expert to improve the overall retail customer experience and reduce handoffs.
• Learn about Capital One products, services, and experiences to help customers reach their financial goals.
• Demonstrate digital savviness by guiding customers on the mobile and online channels and using the branch’s devices to educate on banking channels and services.
• Collaborate with a team of banking professionals to inspire and support one another.
• Research and respond to customer inquiries to enhance retention and engagement, using available tools and channels to propose appropriate solutions.
• Travel between branches within the assigned local area to support the market as needed.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience

• Associate’s degree
• 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries pertain to work within the listed locations and reflect the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. Location-specific ranges include:

• Bay Shore, NY: $51,542 - $54,600
• Commack, NY: $51,542 - $54,600
• Huntington Station, NY: $51,542 - $54,600
• Lindenhurst, NY: $51,542 - $54,600

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location, and the actual salary will be stated in the offer letter.
