CDL-A Driver | $1,300-$1,400 Weekly | Columbus, OH 43081
Rouse Trucking has been moving freight for over 90 years because we understand what professional CDL-A drivers need: reliable pay, predictable home time, and equipment that doesn't break down.
What You'll Earn
Average weekly earnings of $1,300 to $1,400, paid every Friday by direct deposit. No waiting around for checks or wondering when your settlement will hit. CDL-A drivers who maintain professional standards and accept available freight earn a $1,200 weekly minimum. Extra compensation for detention, layover, and breakdown situations keeps your paycheck fair when things don't go according to plan.
Your Schedule
Off every Saturday and Sunday with a real 48-hour reset period. Regional routes run from Maine down to Atlanta, west to Indiana and Illinois. Average haul distance is 250 miles, long enough to make money but short enough that you're not driving for days straight. About half the loads are drop and hook, so you're not sitting at warehouses waiting for someone to show up.
The Equipment
You'll drive a Freightliner Cascadia that's assigned to you, not some slip‑seat situation where you're sharing a truck with three other people. Each unit comes with:
- Double bunk configuration
- Sirius
XM radio and 24-inch HD television - Full-size refrigerator
- Battery-powered APU that actually works
- 1,500-watt inverter for running your personal electronics
Benefits
Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance that doesn't cost a fortune. Delta Dental for dental work. 401(k) with company matching after 60 days. Paid vacation and holiday time once you're established. Bring family members 13 and up for $5 a week insurance. Dogs of any breed or size ride free.
What We Need
A valid Class A license and one year of verifiable OTR experience. We're hiring CDL-A drivers who know how to do the job and want to work for a company that treats them with respect.
