Local Class A CDL Driver

Strawser Construction Inc. is seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers with Tanker endorsement to support our paving operations in Columbus, OH.

• Haul various trucks and trailers, including tankers, lowboys, distributors, and tri‑axle straight trucks.
• Adhere to all Federal and State DOT safety regulations and procedures at all times.
• Support regional routes and out‑of‑town travel, including overnight stays for extended periods.

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement.
• Must obtain Haz Mat endorsement after 1 year.
• Previous highway experience preferred; OSHA 10‑Hour Training or Flagger certification a plus.
• Clean driving record; must pass a drug test and physical fitness test.

• Team player attitude.
• Safety conscious.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.

• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift 60 pounds or more.
• Work outside in hot or cold temperatures.
• Climb ladders, catwalks, etc.; squat, reach, walk long distances, and stand for extended periods on roadway.

Pay: $15/hour plus highway prevailing wage.
