Assistant Coach - Football

Instructs and teaches athletes in fundamentals of football, coaches technique and strategy. Assists in selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, equipment. Monitors academic progress of student athletes;
audits information from academic support services, ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
Bachelor s Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional EducationMaster s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications- Required:
Coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of football at the intercollegiate level. - Position requires extensive travel during recruiting process.
- May require the completion of a criminal background check.
- Knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations; experience working with a diverse population desired.
