Senior Java FSE Developer About the role
As a Full Stack Developer
, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and delivering high‑quality applications across front‑end, back‑end, and integration layers. You will be a valued member of the Digital Engineering team and collaborate closely with product owners, architects, QA, and Dev Ops teams to build scalable, modern, and high‑performing solutions.

- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Build and enhance backend components using Java, J2EE, XML, RESTful services, and related technologies.
- Create, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and relational database integrations.
- Perform unit, functional, and automated testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, defect resolution, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.

What you must have to be considered- Hands‑on experience with Java, JavaScript, React, Python, and Node.js
. - Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JSP, and Java Servlets
. - Experience with JavaScript frameworks including jQuery, Angular
JS, and Bootstrap. - Solid understanding of XML, JSON, and RESTful service development
. - Experience working across both front‑end and back‑end technologies in full‑stack environments.
- Ability to work in an agile, fast‑paced development environment with cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with performance optimization for both UI and backend services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
- Experience working in a consulting or client‑focused environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a continuous‑improvement mindset.

Salary and Other Compensation:Applications will be accepted until March 9th, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
