Job Description & How to Apply Below

We're hiring a Lead Software Engineer to help guide a team building modern, scalable software across web-based and enterprise applications. This role is ideal for someone who's still hands-on technically but also enjoys mentoring, setting direction, and helping a team deliver consistently.

A Lead Engineer spends 70-80% coding, with the rest focused on leadership, execution, and team alignment.

This is a strong fit for someone who's worked in a startup or small-team environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is naturally curious about new tools and better ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers through the full SDLC (planning, build, ship, support)

  • Design and develop scalable applications, APIs, and database architecture

  • Contribute hands‑on using ASP.NET Core and React

  • Conduct code reviews, approve changes, and maintain code quality standards

  • Partner with UX, product, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and shape solutions

  • Support deployments, production readiness, and post-launch stability

  • Break down complex initiatives into clear technical plans the team can execute

  • Evaluate and recommend frameworks, platforms, and tools as the product evolves

  • Coach and mentor engineers through feedback and technical guidance

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of software development experience (including production support experience). This is a full‑stack role,
    leaning heavily toward front‑end.

  • Strong experience with ASP.NET Core

  • Strong experience with React

  • Expertise in relational database design and optimization

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/certifications

Note:

This role is not open to sponsorship now or in the future (potential OPT deadlines, for example)

Benefits (high-level):
  • Medical, vision, and dental coverage

  • 401(k) with match

  • Generous PTO and wellness initiatives

  • Professional development reimbursement (may include tuition support)

  • Hybrid schedule with flexibility as needed

Equal Opportunity:

We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace. Employment decisions are based on merit and qualifications, and we encourage applicants of all backgrounds to apply.
