Agility Partners is seeking qualified applicants to fill an open Senior Software Engineer position for a Columbus-based Healthcare company.
This role will focus on a web and mobile platform that enables customers to virtually engage with their pharmacists. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for supporting new feature enhancements, production support, and both mobile and web development, with a primary emphasis on modern frontend development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full‑stack features for an innovative web and mobile platform that enables customers to virtually engage with their pharmacists
- Build and enhance web and mobile applications with a focus on new feature enhancements and production support
- Collaborate closely with product teams to deliver solutions that create meaningful business value
- Participate in paired programming and test‑driven development practices
- Write unit tests and contribute to quality assurance processes
- Work with REST APIs and microservices architecture (frontend integration focus)
- Contribute to system documentation and code reviews
- Participate in Agile practices and ceremonies
- Support production environments and troubleshooting
The Ideal Candidate
Required:
- 5+ years of experience working as a frontend or full stack software engineer
- Strong expertise with modern frontend frameworks:
React, Angular, or Vue - iOS mobile development experience (Swift or general iOS development)
- Experience with camera/video functionality in mobile applications
- Understanding of REST API integration
- Experience with unit testing and quality assurance practices
- Familiarity with paired programming methodologies
- Knowledge of Agile practices/tools, including TDD
- Highly motivated, self‑learner, and technically inquisitive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred, but any cloud platform accepted)
