Outstanding long-term contract opportunity! A well-known Financial Services Company is looking for a Java Software Engineer in Columbus, OH, Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis, MN, Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ or Iselin, NJ.

We are looking for an Application Engineer with experience in design, development of enterprise systems, and handling high volumes of data. The candidate would design and implement solutions to support our clients. Technology toolkit involves RDBMS tools (SQL Server, Oracle), middleware services (Java/J2EE, Spring, Kafka/JMS), User Interaction (Angular). The candidate will work closely with the Technology organization in building and supporting an enterprise platform.

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong technical skills as well as leadership and mentoring expertise.

Contract Duration: 24 months with possible conversion

• 7 years of experience as a full stack developer with hands-on experience working on all aspects:
  Front-end, User Experience, APIs, Backend, CI/CD, Dev Sec Ops  and No
  
  SQL/SQL development and data modeling
• 5 years of experience with Java 11 , Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Batch and Microservices
• 3 years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Power Shell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or Java Script
• 3 years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift (OCP), Google Cloud Platform, Azure
• 3 years of JPA/Hibernate experience
• 3 years working with JUnit & Mockito
• 5 years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• 3 years of interfacing with Microservices & JSON
• 3 years working with Jasmine and Karma for unit testing

• 7 years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (Angular)
• 5 years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• 3 years of interfacing with Microservices & JSON
• 3 years working with Jasmine and Karma for unit testing
• 5 years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
• 3 years of interfacing with Microservices & JSON

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer‑term Software Engineering challenges that require in‑depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi‑faced situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
