AWS Architect

Job Title: AWS Architect

Location: Columbus, OH (
Hybrid schedule onsite Tues - Thurs)

Pay Range: $80-$85hr

Candidates:
US Citizens or GC Holders

Duration: 6mo contract to hire

As an AWS Architect, you will be part of the cloud engineering department supporting various development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovative cloud solutions, which will align successfully with the organization.

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on AWS.

• Architect and deploy microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS).

• Collaborate with development teams to build backend services in Kotlin.

• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.

• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability.

• 9+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS.

• Proven experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration.

• Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, ECS, Fargate, and Docker/Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in Kotlin for backend development (Spring Boot or Ktor preferred).

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices.
