Fire Sprinkler Service Technician Level II
We are looking for a fire sprinkler service level II life safety technician to perform inspection, testing, service and repair of fire sprinkler systems and related components. The role requires confirming compliance with applicable life‑safety and fire‑safety standards and regulations, and maintaining high visibility within the company.

- Perform inspection and testing of all types of fire sprinkler systems at the required frequencies in accordance with NFPA 25
- Troubleshoot and perform service and repair of fire sprinkler systems such as fire pumps and related components
- Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations electronically or manually
- Maintain a positive relationship with the customer and convey information to the appropriate personnel for follow‑up, quotes, questions, or concerns
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and orderly fashion and keep it stocked with parts, equipment, and supplies necessary for the job
- Maintain necessary equipment and tools for safe job performance
- Evaluate customer sites for additional equipment and services that may be required
- Work in compliance with the company’s safety program
- Perform on‑site and/or off‑site (phone) emergency troubleshooting of sprinkler systems
- Test backflow prevention devices as required by NFPA 25 and state and local codes
- Discuss deficiencies noted with the customer, explaining the problem and its resolution
- Prepare for work at nights, weekends, and/or holidays as required; discuss expectations with your manager
- Must be comfortable working at heights, on ladders or lifts, or in confined spaces
- 2 years of water‑based fire protection systems layout experience, including at least 12 months of core water‑based fire protection systems layout experience (NFPA 13D, 13R, or 13 sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, field surveys, and detailing)
- 1 year of related experience credit may be granted for 5 years of experience in any one or combination of the following: special hazards suppression systems installation, special hazards systems layout, inspection and testing of water‑based systems, sprinkler system installation
- 6 months of related experience credit may be granted for 3 years of experience in any one or two of the above work areas
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages)
- Basic computer skills, including Windows, Word, Apple iOS, Android, Outlook, and ability to learn industry‑specific devices and software
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- 2–5 years of experience with water‑based fire protection systems
- NICET II certification in water‑based systems
- State license in the relevant state

Working Conditions &Physical Requirements
Overtime may be required, and the number of hours may vary by location. The work environment ranges from hot to cold temperatures, dust exposure, and occasional overnight travel. Tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent moving of toolboxes and equipment, ladder climbing, and driving. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory in accordance with safety standards.
