Job Summary

At Ohio CAT, we are looking to add to our team! As an Ohio CAT Technician, you will troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild heavy equipment, engines, drive-train components, and electrical and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, maintaining, overhauling, and rebuilding engines and/or heavy equipment components, such as torque converters, final drives, undercarriage, hydraulic pumps, and more. This role offers the satisfaction of keeping our customers working and contributing to building the world around you!

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • College and/or continued education in a technical field are a plus.
  • Two to three years’ experience related to construction or power equipment/diesel engine service, rebuild, and repair is required.
  • General technical service skills, mechanical aptitude, or experience with construction or power equipment required, with strong DC electrical and machine electronic system knowledge.
  • Ability to follow technical material and apply processes and procedures to complete repairs and manufacturer updates.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs, pulling 50 lbs.
  • Standing, sitting, climbing into machines, and moving frequently.
  • Normal dexterity; frequent use of hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Work environment varies from quiet office settings to moderate or loud noisy environments.
